The Art of Being Positive – Life is not always easy, and especially this past year has been a big challenge with the Covid-19 pandemic, but did you know that many times you become what you think about? If you are always thinking negatively then you are going to draw negative events and experiences to you. On the other hand, the more positive you are the more positive your reality and experiences will be. Which would you rather have in your life? Read on to learn the art of being positive.
#1 Make Sure You Have Positive People Surrounding You – If you are surrounded by people who are being negative and always bringing you down, it’s going to be hard to be difficult to stay positive. So, what you want to do is surround yourself with positive people. We like to fit in with the people around us and so if you are surrounded by people with a positive outlook that’s how you’ll act and be. If you are trying to make big changes in your life and you have negative people around you, it’s going to be very hard to do, because they will be busy telling you why you should just give up, whereas positive people are going to tell you why you should keep going feeding you with positive energy.
#2 Keep Positive Thoughts Your Focus – Even when you’re an optimist, you are going to have a bad thought now and again. The difference between a pessimist and an optimist is just how often you have the thoughts. You don’t have to completely eliminate negativity but it should just make up a very small part of your thoughts.  Don’t be too quick to punish yourself for those occasional negative thoughts. But be sure to nurture your positive thoughts. Let them grow and expand.
#3 Don’t Forget Life is a Game – Don’t feel bad about your life because life is really a game and remember you’ll never get out alive. Tomorrow will always be a different day than today and so instead of worrying about daily obstacles and challenges embrace them! Obstacles are a way for us to learn and grow.
Why not embrace life and the opportunities it has to offer? Start by being positive.
