Greetings. I have been to Disney World twice, and Disneyland once, so I am no expert on the Resorts. But I have a friend who is an expert, so here is some of his advice on enjoying the best that Disney has to offer.

So, we start from the beginning. If you are heading off to Walt Disney World I bet you are wondering where to start? Disney offers a great choice of fantastic restaurants, entertainment, and resorts to meet every one’s personal needs.  What is the best way to plan your days at Disney and what are the best Walt Disney world resorts?

Best Resort Pool – There are plenty of great resort pools, but the absolute best is Stormalong Bay. It is an eye- popping mini water park at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club – it’s really the best of the best.  You’ll find 3 acres of watery delights that twist and wind along.  Top that with a sandy bottom and a giant shipwreck water slide and you instantly understand the power of this pool!

Best Kids Resort Restaurant – One of the reasons the kids choose this restaurant as the best is because it is so busy and so there is no time for them to get bored. Tropical foliage, crashing waterfalls, thunderstorm noise at the Rainforest Café while their second choice is the Whispering Canyon Café at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge where there’s all kinds of hooting and hollering among the kids during the hobby horse race that the kids love so much (PS – I have been to the Rainforest Cafe and it is worth the visit!).

Best Disney Resort Restaurant – The jury is still out on which is the best adult Disney resort restaurant.  It seems no one two adults can agree which is best.  Suffice is to say there are all kinds of great restaurants so whether you are looking for a great steak, some delicious seafood, or the most amazing desert you’ll discover Walt Disney World resorts can deliver.

Best Theme Park Restaurant – In the Epcot Center you will find the Bistro de Paris a charming little Belle Époque dining room filled with crimson banquettes, gilded mirrors, windows framed in billowy white drapes and delicious French accents.  It’s sensational and just the thought of those delicious deserts will have your mouth watering.

Best Time For Walt Disney World Resorts Vacations – Smart vacations will occur during the slower season when line ups are much shorter and resort rates are much cheaper.  This isn’t always possible with children but if they are good students, you might be able to convince the school to let them miss a couple of weeks.  If not, the summer months are your next best choice because of the longer spread period.

Best Deluxe Resort – The Grand Floridian is definitely one of the best deluxe Walt Disney World resorts with its inspiration coming from the turn of the century Victorian elegance and offering spectacular views of Cinderella’s castle.

A couple of tips: Do some planning in advance. Go on the website and explore the rides, the various shows, the restaurants and more. Consider if you want to pay extra for the ability to get on the rides faster. Particularly if you are going during the peak seasons, make reservations at the restaurants in advance of your visit.

So, get ready to enjoy and adventure! It’s time to slow down and enjoy the magic of Orlando and now that you know all about the best Walt Disney World resorts. But don’t just explore what’s on the best list Walt Disney World resorts explore it all and take home the magic and the memories!
